Before you start

Every interaction with the RaptorX D1 is performed through the Lock Pin. The length of the press determines the action, so it is worth familiarising yourself with the timings below before you begin.

Push & release Wake from Transport mode · lock · unlock (motor activates)
Hold 3 sec Enter Transport mode (from the unlocked state)
Hold 10 sec Factory reset (from the unlocked state)
!
Mind the hold duration. A 3-second hold places the device in Transport mode; a 10-second hold performs a full factory reset. Both require the device to be in the unlocked state.
01

Setup & first-time pairing

Pairing links the RaptorX D1 to your Striker account using the unique passkey supplied with your lock.

1

Select "Add Device" and enter your passkey

From the dashboard, select Add Device, enter the unique passkey printed inside your Striker packaging, and select Connect.

Keep your passkey safe — it is required to register and pair the device.
2

Wait for the passkey to validate

The app will display Checking Product Key… while it confirms the device against your account.

3

Confirm Bluetooth on and lock the device

Ensure Bluetooth is turned on and the lock is in the locked state (push the pin down), then select Device is Ready.

4

Push the pin and accept the pairing request

While the app shows Connecting…, push the pin to activate the unlock. Accept the pairing request when it appears; the lock will then show on your dashboard.

Testing the lock

Confirm the lock and unlock cycle is operating correctly once the device is connected.

1

Push the Lock Pin down to place the device into the Locked state. The shackle will engage.

2

Unlock the device

With your phone near the device, push and release the Lock Pin. The motor will activate and the device will unlock.

Adjusting the unlocking distance

The RaptorX D1 uses Bluetooth proximity ranging to validate unlock requests. If it is not unlocking at your preferred distance, the range can be tuned in the app.

i
Why range varies. Accuracy depends on your phone's antenna and signal strength, and on your surroundings — indoors or near large metal objects, range can be reduced.
1

Open Device Setting

From the device on your dashboard, locate the Unlocking Distance control.

2

Select a range

Near decreases the range, Far increases it, and Default is the standard setting.

04

Factory reset from the device

Pressing and holding the Lock Pin for 10 seconds clears the device's pairing record.

1

Confirm the device is in the unlocked state

A factory reset cannot be initiated while the shackle is engaged. Unlock the device via the Striker app or with your manual override key.

2

Locate the Lock Pin

The recessed button situated between the two shackle mounts on the top face of the device.

3

Press and hold for 10 seconds

Apply firm, continuous pressure throughout the full 10-second interval. A brief press will not initiate a reset.

4

Release upon hearing the audible tone

A single tone confirms the device has been reset and is no longer paired to any phone or account.

The device must be in the unlocked state. A factory reset cannot be performed while the shackle is engaged.
06

Re-pair to a new phone

Once the device has been reset and unlinked, it can be paired as a new device. iOS users must complete one additional step before re-pairing.

1

Sign in to the Striker app

On the new phone, using the account you would like the device to be associated with.

2

iOS ONLY Forget the existing Bluetooth entry

Open Settings → Bluetooth, locate RaptorX_XXXXX, tap the information icon, and select Forget This Device.

This step is not required on Android.
3

Add the device in the Striker app

From the dashboard, select the + icon and follow the standard pairing flow.

Return shipping & Transport mode

Before returning the device, place it back into Transport mode so it travels safely with Bluetooth disabled.

1

Confirm the device is in the unlocked state

Transport mode can only be engaged while the device is unlocked.

2

Press and hold the Lock Pin for 3 seconds

Apply firm pressure for 3 seconds, then release. This places the device into Transport mode and disables Bluetooth.

Do not hold for 10 seconds — that performs a factory reset.
3

Confirm the device shows as disconnected

The app should display the device as DISCONNECTED. Please also power off the phone before packing.

Hold 3 sec Enter Transport mode (Bluetooth off, pairing retained)
Hold 10 sec Factory reset (pairing record cleared)
i
Transport mode retains your pairing. For a return, Transport mode (3-second hold) is sufficient — a factory reset is not required.
FAQ

Troubleshooting

The most common cause is that the device is currently in the locked state. A factory reset cannot be initiated while the pin is engaged. Confirm the device is unlocked and try again. If the device is unlocked, the battery level may be insufficient to drive the siren speaker; charge the device via USB-C for 30 minutes and retry.
Pull down to refresh the dashboard. If the device remains visible, fully close and reopen the Striker app. The unlink operation is processed by the Striker cloud service; a stale local cache is the most common cause of this behaviour.
This typically indicates that the iOS Bluetooth step has not been completed. Open Settings → Bluetooth, tap the information icon next to RaptorX_XXXXX, and select Forget This Device. The device should then become available in the Striker app pairing flow.
Ensure your phone is switched on, signed in to the Striker app, and within approximately 1–2 m of the device. Push and release the Lock Pin once to wake the device from Transport mode, then allow 10–20 seconds for the app to refresh. If it does not connect, confirm the device has sufficient battery.
The device should be factory reset and unlinked from your phone when returning a device.
Please contact Striker Support with your device serial number which is on the passkey card that came with your device. Replacement keys can be issued to the registered account holder.
